Spent my 21st in a hospital in Germany with a broken neck. Don’t do THAT. I got lots of visitors and gifts, but didn’t get to have a drink to celebrate turning 21, lol.

Mine was boring since I was in a blizzard. We managed to make it to the store just to buy a six pack of beer. I always have the worst weather on my birthdays.

Get yourself a bottle of champagne and tons of snacks for everyone else. They can BYOB. And the bonfire sounds fun!

I visited a house of ill-repute adjacent to FSB Nancy in South Viet Nam. Otherwise, it was uneventful. No shelling that night.

For my 21st, me and some girlfriends rented a limo for the night, went to see some hot male strippers, then spent the rest of the night clubhopping. After that, we all went to breakfast, then the limo drove us to our respective homes. I will never forget that night.

On my 21st B-Day, My friends brought me to a club and try to get me laid by some girls that was there but I was just haveing fun so I wasn’t really didn’t care of getting laid at that time just to have fun with my friends….But if your haveing drinks there you should take all the key’s from the people that drove to your party until they sobber up the very next day… they have alot of death from people driving drunk!!!

Well I spent mine having a party for myself, and to the best of my recollection I remember several different people and sexualities under my dining room table. It was 1974 and things were a bit different then.

However my daughters 21 involved a party they gave for themselves and a great deal of drinking. Now mind you, no one got to leave their party(one of my daughters collected car keys before the party and they were locked up). There was a great amount of inexperienced drinking, a great amount of throwing it all back up, and one sordid incident with my daughter and my step daughter both peeing outside together on the side of the house because the bathrooms were filled up with people puking. Someone decided that filming this would be really funny. While they had a great party, its been two years and neither drink now.

The thing that bothered me was the $50 b-day cake I had ordered for them, that got forgotten in a back room for 5 days and was one solid $50 cake that no one had even cut one piece from

Ok so here’s my suggestions, with the above in mind. Have your party someplace where no one has to leave if they are drinking. Have plenty of trashcan’s for puking. Don’t let anyone bring video equipment and have plenty of protection.

We enjoyed our 21st but it nothing I’d recommend to anyone.

    Happy 21st!!!

Oh and save the cake for the family party.

Well, for my 21st, I was at University in Hull (England) and I organized a big night out (starting at a cocktail/schnapps bar, then on to a club), invited lots of friends from around the country, who mostly all gathered at my student house first, bringing drinks and no food. Not being very used to alcohol at that stage of my life, but being up for a great night of boozy celebrations, I made the mistake of mixing my drinks – vodka, other shorts, then moving on to cider (the alcoholic type). By the time we all got to the bar, I managed 1/2 my Harvey Wallbanger, before passing out in my seat, and ended up stuck back at home with alcohol poisoning, whilst my friends all went out and had a great time partying on my behalf. So I wouldn’t really recommend that.

Firstly, pace yourselves – start with the beer/cider, and nibbles. Move on to the main course (maybe a barbecue, and some saladey side-dishes), and either wine or (here’s a great way to get drunk without making yourself ill, or getting a hangover) puree a load of your fave fruits – pulpy ones and juicey ones make the best combo. Mix them all up in a jug with copious amounts of tequilla, vodka, bacardi, whatever short you like. The vitamin C and all that water stops you from getting dehydrated, and it gets you merrily drunk, whilst you can feel virtuous about getting your 5 portions of fruit and veg for the day!! And it tastes delicious too!

Later, as the party calms down and people get sleepy, if you’re not too hammered, you could try a tiny bit of the wonderfully trippy absinthe, mixed with either champagne, or cranberry juice. It’s gorgeous (never NEVER drink it neat or it’ll blow your head off!) and has a kind of mellowing effect, and is a good one for chilling out.

Keep it simple, pace yourself, and enjoy yourself!!!

i bought all sorts of alcoholic beverages known to man, invited 6 of my closest girl friends over and had the funnest slumber party ever. i figured since it was legal for me to drink, it was great to have an all-alcohol night. but in the morning, i had the worst hangover i’ve ever had in a lifetime. and it taught me a lesson: never drink more than you can handle.

well, it was all worth it, though :)

    I don’t really remember my 21st. I was TRASHED!!!

  14. HARWOODH says:

Well no matter where you have your party at my only suggestion to you is make sure you have someone who you can rely on and who isn’t going to drink at all to take the keys as people arrive if someone leaves and they are drunk and they get into an accident you are held responsible. Oh and if you have never drank don’t start with Tequila…
