idk but try to think of things she really likes. get some balloons and party stuff. You dont have to make everything a good way. i think your friend will just be happy for giving her a party.
Aw how nice. Sounds good. Go to a decorating store they have all kinds of cool stuff to hang everywhere, streamers, balloons, signs and you can also make your own signs to make it more personal with your own posters, that is what i do. They will like it more if you make some of your own decorations. Party games like pin the tail on the donkey or some other animal hah. I remember i had a valentines day party and we have a bunch of fun games because i had this sleepover party planner book which was soo cool! But when everyone comes you will all have ideas on games to play. You could make some goodie bags for everyone with stuff from the party store.
Hope you have fun
Hope i helped =]
For the party i think for games you should have a colorful pinata.
Decorations: You should hang lanterns on the walls. Also you should have Yellow, Light Blue, and Hot Pink Ballons. On your walls you should have pictures of all three of you together.
Cake: CheeseCake, or a vanillia flavored cake with pink and red icing.
Theme. If you want a theme you should have like a disco themed party. Rock & Roll Dangles on walls, Inflatable microphones and guitars, 50’s Drive-In Convertible Standees, and rock in roll table coverings. Hope i helped!
I always have my fave ideas and they have always worked and everyone has had a great time. Choose what fits your style.have fun!
Let them all go hawaiian..inexpensive to dress for & they can at least have their hawaiian clothes on & so masks are optional tell them. You can get them pretty cheap at party favor stores or do make your own ones.
Serve smoothies and other tropical drinks.
Palm trees and tikki torches add to the atmosphere.
Have a hula contest with guests wearing grass skirts.
Hand out a lei to each guest. You can make lei bracelets for a craft too.
Create a lagoon effect by hanging streamers in green, aqua and blue colors from the ceiling. Add a string of white lights for more of a glow.
Attach helium balloons to pineapples for a themed decoration.
All this can be done pretty cheaply. party stores sell those lei’s pretty cheap.

Also do like a Rock N Roll party..have everyone dress up in their best rocker outfit..tell them current style or the old fashion at the hop..have plenty of music z& fun foods to snack on.

Have like a Mardi Gra party! great masks & tons of colored beads, etc and easy enough to decorrate for & it shouldn’t cost too much but can look so rich. They use such royal colors remember, purple, gold & green. By hanging balloons and streamers in these colors, your party will already begin to take on a New Orleans flair. A clever way to mask walls or add spice to a doorway is to hang crepe paper vertically from the ceiling or a door frame.
Another common symbol in New Orleans is the Fleur de Lis, a French symbol. This symbol, usually gold, was proudly displayed throughout New Orleans after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. A Fleur de Lis can be easily created by searching for a picture on the Internet, then cutting the shape out on card stock.
A way to add simple and easy pizazz is by adding string lights around the ceilings or tree trunks. You could look for lights in Mardi Gras colors, but white lights will work as well. Add purple, gold and green confetti to tables. Also, if you are serving food, tie purple, gold and green ribbons around napkins or silverware.
Don’t Forget Masks and Beads
Masks are sold in New Orleans all year-round, and worn during Mardi Gras. To make your own, buy blank, inexpensive masks at a craft store. Guests can decorate their mask with green, gold and purple paint, sequins, glitter and feathers. These masks can also be made to hang as decorations. Along with masks, strings of beads are a must at a Mardi Gras party. Bulk beads can be bought inexpensively at party stores.
Tempting and Tasty
New Orleans is known for its spicy Cajun food. Some ideas for a Mardi Gras party include serving spicy jambalaya, shrimp etouffee, beignets, and the traditional King Cake. King Cake is an oval, sweet cake frosted in purple, green and gold. Within the cake, a tiny plastic baby is hidden. It is said that whoever finds the King Cake baby is asked to hold the Mardi Gras party next year.
To turn traditional desserts into Mardi Gras desserts, just add purple, green and gold sprinkles or candy. Add gold coins to the dessert tray and place masks nearby.
Have a Bead-Throwing Good Time
Holding your own Mardi Gras party is sure to please people and be easier than you think. By using simple purple, green and gold decorations, throwing beads and serving King Cake, you are sure to create your own little New Orleans!
Have fun doing this if the Hawaiian theme isn’t for you(though they are great for pool parties)
Also one of my other fave parties is a Winter Wonderland..this is so beautiful & easy to decorate for.You can do this no matter what time of the year it is because most everyone loves the beauty of a winter wonderland theme. For the invitations be creative. Cut out snowflakes (ask a young friend if you forgot how to do it), decorate with silver and gold glitter pens and write the party details on the back. This is one invitation that will still be hanging up long after the party’s over.If your party is at home, decorate outside with little white twinkling lights. Line your walkway or driveway with white snowflake luminaries. Snow or not, your house will glitter and glow. A snowflake banner hanging outside you home will let everyone know where the party is! Have your message say something like “Happy Holidays from _________(put your name on it)”, and you can leave it up all season.
Once inside the party, there are endless decorating possibilities. Bunches of snowflake balloons on either side of the doorway will add extra sparkle. Near the front of the party, place a life-sized cutout of the host as a snowman. “Frosty” will be the hit of the party! Create a wonderful winter backdrop with scene setters. Choose from a snowy village border, snow flurry scene or winter wonderland. Add a snowflake ceiling decoration to your hallway and over the buffet. Pine, peppermint or spice scented candles will make the room
